9-36V Power Booster Technology for Low-voltage PoE Deployment

With the specific power sourcing requirements in demanding environments, the DD-0953-360 and DD-0953-480 power boosters have been designed to fulfill the need of supporting 9V to 36V low-voltage DC power input with power booster technology for general PoE switches, which enables the PoE deployment in, for example, low-voltage automation and automotive environments. Compact as they are, they waste no space and are ideal fits for installing with other devices in a space-limited enclosure. In order to satisfy higher power consumption, the DD-953-480 can provide up to 480 watts outputs. Given that there are several different powering requirements of the switches, the DD-0953-360 and DD-0953-480 bring users the flexibility to adjust output voltage (48V~55V) via the built-in SVR.

Effective Safety Mechanism for System Reliability

Given that the low-voltage power source and installation errors, such as reversing polarity, increase the risk of electric shock, it is crucial to give the products themselves adequate protection from damage. The safety mechanism built-in the DD-0953-360 and DD-0953-480 power boosters are effective for scenarios including output short circuit, input current overload, reserve polarity of input and output, and power input below acceptable voltage, to mitigate the electricity damage arising from the above. With many applications typically requiring installation in demanding environments, the products have been designed to cope with extreme operating temperatures from -40°C to 75°C and high levels of electrical magnetic interference.
