New Taipei City, 17th December – Leonton Technologies is proud to announce the introduction of the new EN 50155 switch series with a large portfolio of PoE/non-PoE options – PG5-1600-M12XB-67, PG5-1802-M12XB-10GSFP-67, EG5-1600-M12XB-67, and EG5-1802-M12XB-10GSFP-67 Series, opening up the possibility to fulfill railway applications from onboard to wayside.
The E(P)G5-1600-M12XB-67 and E(P)G5-1802-M12XB-10GSFP-67 Series M12 managed Ethernet switches use M12 connectors to ensure tight, robust connections, and guarantee reliable operation in industrial environments where vibration and shock are commonplace. The E(P)G5-1802-M12XB-10GSFP-67 Series are added with 10G SFP connectors as economical options to increase the flexibility to swap the SFP transceivers for easier network deployment while achieving significant cost and time savings for various distances. In addition, the models support ERPS-Ring redundancy and have 2 Gigabit ports with bypass relay function, ensuring network reliability in harsh environments. All the series are compliant with the railway EN 50155 and EN 50121-4 standards, making the switches suitable for the rolling stocks and railway environment.
